Christian Höferle

Christian Höferle helps global organizations and internationally mobile professionals succeed across cultural borders. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, and Munich, Germany, he is the founder and Managing Partner of The Culture Mastery (TCM), a boutique cross-cultural consulting firm he has run since 2008.

Born and raised in Germany, Christian has now spent half his life in the United States, giving him a genuinely bicultural perspective on his work. For more than 18 years he has designed and delivered training, coaching, and relocation support for individuals, families, and teams on international assignment. His client work spans manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, life sciences, energy, and consumer goods organizations across North America, EMEA, Latin America, and APAC.

Christian is a certified GlobeSmart Profile Facilitator through Aperian and uses the GlobeSmart framework daily in his expatriate coaching and cross-cultural team training. He also holds a facilitator certification in the Inclusive Behaviors Inventory and is a certified NLP Master Trainer and Mastermind Facilitator.

Christian coaches expatriates and their families before, during, and after relocation, helping them build the practical skills needed to adapt to a new culture and workplace. He also provides fractional Chief Culture Officer services to C-suite leaders at multinational companies, connecting individual expatriate readiness to broader organizational culture strategy.

Christian co-authored Harvard Business Review articles on cross-cultural coaching and workplace praise across cultures. He hosted The Culture Guy Podcast and co-hosted Two Chaps – Many Cultures, both addressing the realities of working and living across cultures.

Christian speaks German natively and English near-natively, with basic Spanish and Italian. He studied Political Science at the University of Passau, Germany.
